After a disappointing World Cup campaign, Pakistan is now gearing for a Test match series against Australia. They will go toe to toe against the current World Test Championship winners from December 14. The players are currently training at the Pindi Cricket Stadium before departing for Australia.Pakistan are currently ranked first in the World Test Championship 2023–25 points table. Under the captaincy of Shan Masood, they look forward to make history as Pakistan has never won a Test series in Australia. It is a huge task as the Australian team is in a fantastic touch and have defeated the Indian team in final of ODI World Cup 2023 final and the WTC 2023 final this year.
The Pakistani players are training under new coaches before departing for Australia. In one of the videos that has gone viral on the internet, former captain and star batsman Babar Azam was seen running after wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, trying to hit him with the bat.
The incident happened during the warm-up match when Babar was at the crease. Rizwan was wicketkeeping, and after leaving the ball when Babar moved out of his crease, Rizwan aimed at the stumps with his throw, and then was seen clapping and appealing.
Seeing Rizwan’s antics, Babar came down, charging at Rizwan to make a playful hit.
